Dead Space 3 has only just hit store shelves, and already people are discovering ways to do things they shouldn’t. Dead Space 3′s resource management system is different from previous titles, in that you collect items throughout your adventure then use them to craft weapons. Of course, those who don’t want to spend time hunting around can simply head to the marketplace and buy the items they need. Fortunately, there’s a way around these cheeky microtransactions, thanks to a glitch in chapter 8.
The video below shows a specific room that keeps spawning items every time you enter. By continuously entering and leaving, you can gather as many resources as you want. It may take a while, but it’s still a lot better than handing over your hard-earned money after already purchasing a game at full retail price. I wouldn’t usually endorse cheating, but if it helps you avoid an inappropriate microtransaction, I say go for it.
