Spaceship shooters were a dime a dozen back in the 8-bit era, and now they’re back with a vengeance. The latest of this classic genre to hit the PlayStation Network is Big Sky Infinity, the follow-up to VooFoo and Boss Baddie’s Really Big Sky. It’s available on PS3 and Vita, and supports cross-buy, meaning you only have to purchase it on one system and you get the other version for free!
Big Sky Infinity looks to be an over-the-top, exciting space shooter, with levels that are modified based on a player’s performance so you’ll never play the same game twice. It also has cloud synchronization, 4 player local multiplayer on PS3, and the ability to compete against friends or world high scores even when offline. If you’re a fan of the genre it’s definitely worth checking out.
