It’s been a very long time coming with numerous delays but Bioshock Infinite has finally arrived. The game is developed by the same team who made the original Bioshock but opted to skip on the sequel to instead work on what could be considered a prequel to the first game. If Bioshock 2 left you slightly disappointed then Bioshock Infinite will be what you’re looking for.
“Today’s the day we’ve been looking forward to. Our redefinition of BioShock is ready to be delivered from our hands to those of gamers around the world,” said Ken Levine, Creative Director and co-founder of Irrational Games. “We believe Infinite is very much a BioShock experience, but at the same time something very fresh that both fans of the original and newcomers to the series will be able to enjoy.”
I’ve already had the chance to play through Bioshock Infinite and I can honestly say that I really enjoyed my time with the game. I’d be lying if I told you that it left the same impact on me that the original did back in 2007 but Bioshock Infinite is still totally worth every penny and I urge everyone pick up a copy.
