Call of Duty: Ghosts to have dedicated servers on all platforms

Call of Duty Ghosts 600

Call of Duty: Ghosts will feature dedicated servers for all versions of the game, executive producer Mark Rubin said on Twitter today.
Until now, Infinity Ward had only confirmed during Gamescom that the Windows PC and Xbox One versions would have them.

“Dedicated servers will be used on current-gen, next-gen and PC with Ghosts,” said Rubin. He clarified that the game will use both dedicated and listen servers, with the choice depending on a user’s proximity to a dedicated server.

“No matter where you are, the game will always be trying to give you the best online performance possible,” said Rubin. In addition, Ghosts’ matchmaking technology will put players in matches with “the best combined overall connectivity performance.”

By the way, the minimum and recommended specifications for the PC version of the game have been revealed
