It has been announced that Corpse Party: Book of Shadows will be getting an English version that will be digitally released for North America and Europe on the PlayStation Portable. The Corpse Party sequel is set to come out this winter for those in America and later for European gamers. This survival-horror will be styled like a point-and-click game as opposed to the last one, adding depth to certain characters and explaining their purpose in the series. Corpse Party: Book of Shadows will also be more dialogue-driven.
In this seven chapter sequel, players can expect to take on the roles of Naomi, Mayu, Sayaka, Morshige, Yuka and Tohko. Furthermore, the game will feature a bonus chapter entitled ‘Blood Drive’ that serves as a prologue to the next game. Many fans appear excited for the arrival Corpse Party. So far the series has been successful, garnering four original video animations (OVAs) and a manga adaptation which is tailored specifically to the Book of Shadows installment.
