One of the Barclays Premier League’s most accomplished talents, Bale will make his debut on the cover of FIFA 14 in the UK, Ireland and Middle East alongside, Barcelona and Argentina superstar Lionel Messi.
Speaking about the partnership EA SPORTS, Dan Holman, Head of UK Product Marketing EA SPORTS said:

He’s a natural goal scorer and is a perfect fit for FIFA 14’s new Pure Shot feature that allows for numerous new exhilarating and rewarding ways to score. Renowned for his outstanding game-winning goals last season, we’ve worked closely with the EA SPORTS team in Vancouver to motion-capture and 3D head scan Gareth so he will be even more authentic than ever in FIFA 14.”
Commenting on his cover appearance the Welsh superstar said:
“To be on the front cover is a massive honor. When you look at the caliber of players that have been on there in the past they are legends of the game, so for me to be here now is a dream come true.”
The partnership will see Bale become an EA SPORTS Football ambassador for the 2013/14 season. He will become the cornerstone of marketing and advertising campaigns in the UK and Ireland, featuring on packaging and utilised in other media activities. The Spurs winger will appear on the cover of FIFA 14 on the Xbox 360 with Kinect and the PlayStation 3 with PlayStation Move support.
