2K Games and Gearbox Software just revealed their plans for the future of Borderlands 2: After the launch of the game, 4 additional add-on packs will be coming, and you can net them all by purchasing a Season Pass. Each add-on will feature several hours of gameplay and introduce new adventures, allies, enemies and environments.
Individually, they will sell for $9.99 on PC and PS3, and 800 MS Points on Xbox 360, but you can get the entire Season Pass for $29.99/2,400 MS Points, which you can think of as a 25% saving, or “buy 3 get one free”, if you like. Either way, it sounds like a good deal, and should keep Borderlands fans happy for some time to come.
The Season Pass will be available when Borderlands 2 launches on September 18th (September 21st internationally). All four add-on content campaigns are scheduled to be available by June, 2013.
