Without much warning the debut trailer for Grand Theft Auto V multiplayer is now online for your viewing pleasure. Like the gameplay trailer we saw not too long ago, the multiplayer mode is also looking extremely promising. If you thought Grand Theft Auto Online was just team death match then think again, it might as well be it’s out campaign mode.
In Grand Theft Auto Online, you’ll have the freedom to explore alone or with friends, work cooperatively to complete missions, band together to participate in activities and ambient events, or compete in traditional game modes with the entire community, all with the personality and refined mechanics of Grand Theft Auto V.
Access to Grand Theft Auto Online is free with every retail copy of Grand Theft Auto V.
The trailer voice over tells you all you need to know so I won’t waste your time recapping everything. I don’t know why but the part where you and your gang are just chilling out at your crib was just super cool, it’s already better than PlayStation Home in that regard.
Grand Theft Auto V will out on September 17th for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, it’s a worldwide release so everyone gets it at the same time. We STILL have no word yet on a PC version but I honestly can’t imagine it not happening somewhere down the line.
