Hitman: Absolution Sneaks into Stores Today

It’s been a long wait, but Hitman: Absolution is finally available. We’ve seen so many behind-the-scenes videos and making-of trailers, but now we can all experience IO Interactive’s latest game for real.

As well as brand new story, which sees Agent 47 being betrayed by those he trusts, Hitman: Absolution introduces Contracts, a new online mode which allows gamers to create and share their own custom hit challenges within the game. They choose a level, targets, weapons and then set rules for completing the contract based on time, style and witnesses. This gives budding assassins a chance to use their creativity and device difficult hits for friends and rivals.

“Hitman: Absolution marks the culmination of years of hard work, belief and determination from many involved with IO Interactive and Square Enix.”, said Jon Brooke, Brand Director. “The result is an original and incredibly replayable gaming experience that will blow many people away. Welcome back Agent 47, we’ve missed you.”

Hitman: Absolution is available now for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Look forward to our review in the coming days.
