Jet Set Radio Arrives On Mobiles November 29th

Sega have revealed a release date for when Jet Set Radio will be arriving on mobiles and that day is November 29th. Currently available for the Xbox 360, PS3 & PC the Dreamcast classic will be arriving on iOS, Android and Vita platforms meaning you can finally take Jet Set Radio with you without having to resort to that GameBoy Advance port. The cel-shaded visuals should look great on high definition displays but the Vita is the only one with physical buttons so if you’re going to pick up a version it’s that one.

SEGA® Europe Ltd. can today reveal the release dates for Jet Set Radio on iOS, Android Devices and the PlayStation®Vita system. PlayStation®Vita players can run rampant in Tokyo-to on the 20th of November, while iOS and Android fans of the venerable graffiti-based action game will be able to purchase their copy on the 29th of November.

Jet Set Radio is a high definition remastering of the Dreamcast classic that stays faithful to the iconic gameplay and art style that captured the hearts of a gaming generation. Taking control of a cast of memorable characters, players lead the “GG’s” graffiti gang on a mission to recover their territory from rivals – a task that is disrupted by the arrival of a nefarious organization named the Rokkakku Group. Can Beat, Gum, Mew and co. defeat corporation leader Rokkakku Goji and unravel his evil plans before Tokyo-to is lost forever?

Some of you may remember Jet Set Radio scored a lovely 4/10 on our site but don’t worry that was before I joined so we now have a Jet Set Radio fan in the house now. Great job on the HD remaster Sega but how about giving Jet Set Radio Future some love too, the backwards compatibility on the Xbox 360 is full of slowdown issues. Jet Set Radio Future & Panzer Dragoon Orta on XBLA, DO IT SEGA!
