I have been aware of this interesting heist game for a little while now, and now its coming out. Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine will be available on XBLA and Steam on April 24, 2013. Amazingly Monaco is mostly the work of one man, Andy Shatz. Monaco won the 2010 IGF Grand Prize as well as the award for Excellence in Design after only 15 weeks of work.

After watching that it does seem pretty baffling actually, but like many games it probably makes a lot more sense whilst you actually play. Besides we all need a little more complexity that is lacking from many of todays games. The top-down art style is very reminiscent of Hotline Miami or Prison Architect, the later which is still in alpha, so the art could completely change. Here is the games description

XBLA has had a slew of great games that have come out already this year, Runner 2, Terraria, BattleBlock: Theatre, and the upcoming Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. I am sure there are plenty more but those are the ones that immediately come to mind.
