We’ve had plenty of behind-the-scenes videos for Hitman: Absolution, showcasing the weapons, storytelling, disguises, and various other elements. The latest of these videos gives us a feel for the audio in the game, and how it helps build the atmosphere and create an engrossing experience.
Audio is one of those elements that may not get as much mention as graphics or story, but if it isn’t done right, it definitely shows. In this case, the developers have clearly spent a lot of time writing the score, designing the sound effects, and recording the dialogue. Motion capturing the actors as they deliver their lines should bring a new level of realism to the story, and the use of dramatic audio cues seems to create a very cinematic feel. Overall, it looks like Hitman: Absolution is shaping up to be one of the best games of the holiday season.
