New Uncharted Revealed For PlayStation 4

During Sony’s PlayStation 4 All Access event, Naughty Dog revealed a brand new Uncharted game in the works for the PlayStation 4. Now don’t get too excited as no actual gameplay was shown, instead all we got was a voice over narration from a yet unknown character.

Surprisingly the game doesn’t appear carry carry the number four in the title, perhaps they’re saving that for the full reveal or maybe Uncharted for the PlayStation 4 isn’t a direct sequel at all. Fans on the internet have suggested that the voice over we hear in the teaser trailer is that of Sir Francis Drake. Anyone who has played an Uncharted game before will know by now that Nathan Drake is a fictional descendant of Sir Francis Drake. Maybe like in inFamous Second Son we could be seeing a protagonist switch over for the new Uncharted, it would certainly freshen things up.

Wait a minute, didn’t Sir Francis Drake likely have an English accent?

The full reveal trailer is expected to be shown sometime next month at the Spike VGX, they renamed the event for whatever reason. I’m guessing that the Spike VGAs name is SO tainted by now that they’re probably trying to escape from it. I don’t blame them either, the Spike VGAs is consistently year in and year out one of the biggest disgraces in the games industry. YES, because I really need no name celebrities pretending they like video games, screw them.
