Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus arrives later this week and therefore a launch trailer has been released. Vita owners we feel your pain but beggars can’t be choosers, you have no choice but to take what you are given and smile whether you like it or not.
The great news however is that Ninja Gaiden 2 is a pretty good game, well it was on the Xbox 360 until Team NINJA butchered up the Sigma “upgrade” on PlayStation 3. Don’t worry about the gore levels in the game because what you need to know is that Ninja Gaiden 2 is a well crafted game, the combat mechanics in particular are some of the best you’ll see in the genre.
NINJA GAIDEN SIGMA 2 PLUS takes everything gamers love about the Ninja Gaiden franchise and packs it into a spectacular new handheld adventure for the PlayStation Vita. New modes like the frantic Ninja Race and the single player co-op Tag Mission keep the game fresh, the roster of player characters and enemies is unmatched, and the action lights up the screen with phenomenal visuals that rival anything you’d see on console.
If Ninja Gaiden 3 as a whole wasn’t to your liking then Ninja Gaiden 2 is worth on a look, it’s a “real” Ninja Gaiden game if that makes any sense. The fact it’s now available as a handheld game with a host of new features is pretty cool.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus arrives March 1st for Sony’s Vita.
