Official Dreamcast and MegaDrive bags are available now to order from Insert Coin’s online store. As I’ve mentioned in the past some of the more interesting news stories are the ones found on Twitter, blogs and Facebook pages. This piece of news in particular I found via Sega’s Facebook page.
Right then two bags are currently available for you guys to order, the first is a Dreamcast inspired carrier bag which is looking sleek as hell and the second is one based on the MegaDrive which is more cool too see but probably not something I’d buy. One thing worth noting about the Dreamcast version is that the colour of the swirl is different depending on your region meaning it’s Blue for Europe, Red for America and Orange for Japan.
The Dreamcast bag looks to be made out of leather or at least something that resembles it and it’s measurements are 27 x 29 x 11 which I assume are width, height and depth in that order. It costs £30 and comes in the only colour that matters, white. She’s wearing a Jet Set Radio T-Shirt, my kind of girl.
The MegaDrive bag again seems to be made out of leather or something that resembles it and it’s measurements are 41 x 31 x 11 under width, height and depth measurements. This one costs £35, comes in black and appears to be the same design across all regions despite the fact that the MegaDrive was known as the Genesis in America.
Personally I’m in love with the Dreamcast bag and I just want to finish this news post so I can rush to order one myself. The MegaDrive bag isn’t as cool to me but it’s bigger so if you’re planning to use one of these bags to carry your laptop around then the MegaDrive is the more suitable option.
