Onlive Bluetooth Controller Review (First Impressions)

I have had the ONLIVE bluetooth Controller for just over 12hrs and even though I have not fully stressed tested the controller I can tell you the Controller is excellent. It is slightly heavier then the XBOX controller and very slightly bigger but is very comfy to hold, all the buttons are very responsive and are perfectly placed and with the addition of the media buttons it makes taking and saving brag clips a brezze.

I have managed to test the controller out on 3 games via the onlive network, Unreal Tournament, PES 2012 and Dirt 3, the controller performed perfectly with all 3 games and with no lag at all even though UT is better being played with Keyboard and Mouse. It took me seconds to set the controller up, plugged in the usb fob into the back of my mac mini, placed the battery pack in the back of the controller, pressed the pair button on the usb fob and it was ready for gaming.

I would highly recommend this controller to any onlive gamer, a game like PES 2012 that uses about 20 different keys on a keyboard is so much easier to play and makes for more enjoyable gaming experience. The controller costs £39.99 about the same as a new PS3 or Xbox 360 controller and can be bought from Onlive.com or any large gaming high street store.
