Sony have updated the PlayStation store with new content so let’s take a look and see what’s on offer this week. Don’t just too excited just yet, we won’t be seeing any free PlayStation Plus games this week although it shouldn’t be too long before the likes of Bioshock Infinite and Metro Last Light show up. Yes, that’s a hint of what’s to come in the near future.

Xav’s Recommendation
Whilst I was tempted to give Guacamelee the recommendation nod for this week, it’s inclusion as part of PlayStation Plus not too long ago means that a fair amount of you have already played it. With this in mind I’m giving this week’s recommendation to Oddworld Abeboxx, a compilation double pack featuring both Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus.
The Oddworld series started off as a 2D side-scrolling platformer of sorts although most will remember it as the game where you can fart. It’s not so much as a Mario style platformer as it is something of a puzzle based game with some real brain teasers towards the end. It’s definitely worth a look for anyone not yet acquainted with the series but you may want to hold off until the remake shows up later this year.
