Rayman Legends Coming To Vita

Rayman Legends 600 x 300

PlayStation Vita fans can jump for joy as Ubisoft have announced Rayman Legends will indeed be making it’s way to Sony’s handheld. Trust me I’m not being sarcastic here or poking fun at the Vita, it may be a port but this really is great news for Vita fans as the original Rayman Origins played and looked stunning on that OLED screen.

The PlayStation Vita version of Rayman Legends will feature five exclusive levels which will make use of the Vita’s rear touch pad and also come with two additional costumes, one based on Prince of Persia and the other on Splinter Cell meaning every version of the game now has exclusive costumes.

As seen in the trailer below the game will feature co-op multiplayer which was strangely missing in the Vita port of Rayman Legends. The trailer only shows two players in action with one of them being in charge of touch screen related duties indicating that you won’t be getting the five player action of the Wii U version which kind of sucks to be honest.

Rayman Legends was originally a Wii U exclusive but is now coming to all major systems which is great, there’s no reason to limit your potential audience so the more the merrier. It will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PlayStation Vita when it arrives on August 30th in Europe.
