Here in the UK, we can only dream of the awesomeness that Rocksmith brings to the rhythm game table, but folks on the other side of the pond have been honing their guitar skills for a while. It ain’t all about axe-shredding though, as on August 14th bassists will finally get a chance to shine with a new expansion.
That’s right, everyone’s favourite 4-stringed instrument is making its way to Rocksmith! The pack lets players “improve their skills like 2-finger plucking, slapping, and popping with dedicated bass technique challenges, tutorial videos and mini-games.” As if that wasn’t enough, all on-disc songs and DLC that have a bass track will automatically support the new mode, so you’ll have plenty of stuff to play along to from day one.
The Rocksmith Bass Expansion arrives on August 14th for $29.99. Those who are about to rock, we salute you.
