The popular 2d mining and crafting game Terraria is coming out on Xbox XBLA next Wednesday 27th March (Tuesday for North America). I was never able to play this game when it first came out as it was not released on Mac and have been excited about this version since it was first mentioned. I have even watched a few youtube lets play’s and lamented that it was never released for Mac. Terraria will be priced at 1200 Microsoft points / €14.99 / £11.99 at launch.
…after months of teasing new bosses, showing off brand new multiplayer options and riding Orca’s; 505 Games is pleased to announce that the wait is finally over for the worldwide Terraria community as the console version of the Indie PC hit will be releasing on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®Network next week.
I have a few reservations with how it is going to control without a mouse, but all signs are pointing to a well put together port. We are even getting some new exclusive content. 505 Games have teased possible updates, mentioning “some very exciting news about the next steps in the Terraria story”. Although this might simply be suggesting DLC, maybe Terraria 2?
