It’s the start of the week meaning we get to take a look at this week’s top 20 gaming charts, as always these are UK sales charts. Let’s take a quick look and question the UK’s taste in games as usual.
Resident Evil Revelations goes straight to the top of the charts this week, the game is available on four different platforms so this is expected. On the flipside it’s probably better than Resident Evil 6 which is certainly unexpected, hopefully Capcom patch those horrible aiming controls for everyone who bought the game.
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D also makes an impressive showing at the fifth spot, if you’ve skipped on the Wii version for whatever reason then now is a perfectly good time to unsin yourself. It’s only like one of the greatest 2D platformers of all time…
The rest of the charts holds few surprises with the exception of Call of Duty Black Ops II almost dropping out of the top 20 which makes me happy, yes I’m evil like that.
And finally we can’t finish off the charts without a s**t game making the top 20 and this week it’s Fast & Furious Showdown. Give that license to EA and let Criterion Games do something with it, something along the lines of Burnout 2 could pass for a Fast & Furious game.
