Borderlands 2, the fps-rpg lootfest from Gearbox Software is getting a Game of the Year (GOTY) edition coming later this year.
The edition includes the full game and all of the add-on content totalling around $100.
The full content of the GOTY edition is:
- Borderlands 2 Main Game;
- Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty;
- Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage;
- Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt;
- Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep;
- Creature Slaughter Dome;
- Premiere Club Content: Gaige, the Mechromancer Character Class; Gearbox Gun Pack; Golden Key; Vault Hunter’s Relic;
- Krieg, the Psycho Character Class;
- Collector’s Edition Heads and Skins;
- Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1.
Borderlands 2 GOTY is scheduled to arrive on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in early October and will be priced at $59.99. (I’ll update the post with a UK/EU price when I find one). There’s no confirmation whether Borderlands 2 GOTY will be available for PS Vita.
I had a helluva good time with Borderlands and it’s DLC (one of the few expansins I felt was worth it) and I’m currently playing Borderlands 2 through co-op and enjoying it even more. If anyone was thinking about picking up Borderlands 2, and hadn’t got around to it, this looks like it’ll be the perfect opportunity. That package right there is a lotta loot.
