December Release Schedule for PlayStation Plus

December is almost upon us, and with it comes a brand new month of PlayStation Plus content. This update only applies to AE, AU, GB, IE, and NZ territories, but we’ll likely hear about the US releases soon. First off, the PS3 is getting instant access to Batman: Arkham City, the critically acclaimed follow-up to the awesome Arkham Asylum. Another great title to hit the library is Limbo, one of my personal indie favourites from the last few years. Finally, we have Vanquish, the third-person shooter developed by Platinum Games and directed by Shinji Mikami.

That’s not all, though, for we also have new content coming for the Vita. The biggest of the portable releases is the latest version of classic fighter, Mortal Kombat. We’re also getting Knytt Underground, the puzzle platformer follow-up to indie hit Knytt Stories. Finally, we’ll be getting access to Big Sky Infinity, a shoot ‘em up from the development teams at VooFoo Studios and Boss Baddie.

Along with the Instant Game Collection, we can expect exclusive PS Plus discounts on lots of titles, including Rayman Origins. Here’s the complete schedule for December:
