Another trailer for DuckTales Remastered has gone live and this time we’re taking a look at the African Mines. Yeah I know it’s another DuckTales Remastered post but I will honestly find any excuse to write about this game, it’s far more interesting than reporting on whatever stupidity is going on over at Phil Fish’s Twitter feed.
We’ve been here before, DuckTales Remastered is a 2013 remake (or “remastering”) of the original NES title from the late 80s or early 90s if like me you were living in Europe. The game is being handled by WayForward Technologies and the last time they handled a remake of a past game, the end result was Double Dragon Neon which was pretty cool. Personally I think Contra 4 and Shantae are their claim to fame but ultimately, let’s just say almost everything they do ends up being good.
DuckTales Remastered will be out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U. That’s right, there’s actually a 3rd party developer out there making a Wii U version of something for once.
The release dates for DuckTales Remastered are all over the place so take a look below to see what’s up. As long as you’re not an Xbox 360 owner, you should be fine.
