The official Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2013 book is coming out next week. More specifically you’ll be able to get your hands on it on January 10th which is just little over a week from now. The Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition is basically what it sounds like, it’s an official book of videogame related records so if you’re planning to go for a world record attempt this book will show you what the official records are.

I’m never going to to attempting any world records, the best thing I’ve ever done is hit #1 on the Xbox 360 SoulCalibur V leaderboards and even that only happened because the game stops tracking once you reach a certain limit. I have to admit that I don’t think featuring Angry Birds on the cover of what I assume would be a hardcore gamer’s book is a good idea.

Here’s what you can expect from Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2013.

- Largest collection of videogame MEMORABILIA
- Smallest arcade machine
- Highest score on FIFA
- Highest earning Gamer

Other feature opportunities available include:

Top 50 Videogame Villains of All Time
Over 6,000 gamers voted. Feature our official results

Interview videogame record holders from the new book
