Minecraft continues to dominate the Xbox Live Arcade, breaking a slew of Xbox LIVE records and becoming the best selling title in XBLA’s 7-year history. 4J Studios Twitter exclaimed; “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has passed 4 million sales! (An) Incredible number, thanks to you all!” Minecraft falls only behind Call of Duty: Black Ops as the most played title on Xbox Live.
4J Studios is also working on the 1.8.2 update for the 360 version which will see the much anticipated Creative mode added along with features such as Abandoned Mineshafts and Strongholds. 4J most recently informed us the update would be sent to Microsoft Certification this upcoming week.
“We’re finishing off bug fixes for the 1.8.2 update now, should be able to get it into MS Cert Test early this coming week.”
There you have it, expect the update to be live in the next few weeks.
