Sega have just announced that their Dreamcast classic, Jet Set Radio, is now available for iOS and Android. This version joins the recently released PS3, Xbox 360, PC and PS Vita versions, which should bring a smile to the mouth of any mobile gamer who remembers the original.
Now, you may recall that I didn’t exactly love the Xbox 360 version of this game, finding the controls awful, the gameplay repetitive, and the camera an absolute joke. However, I think it’s safe to say that many gamers have much lower expectations when buying games on their phones, so this may be the perfect place for Jet Set Radio. Besides, the ability to snap pictures then turn them into in-game graffiti may be worth the cost of admission alone. On top of this, the game features Retina Display support and GameCenter Achievements & Leaderboards (iOS only).
