Nintendo have just announced that this Thursday, September 13th, European gamers will be able to tune in to a live press event showcasing their upcoming Wii U. The event takes place at 3pm GMT, which is the same time as a similar conference being held in New York.
While we all know that the Wii U is scheduled to launch this holiday season, we haven’t received specific dates or prices yet, and this seems like a prime opportunity to let those details out. In the US, the console is expected to arrive at $300 or less, but the UK price is anyone’s guess right now. Hopefully this question will be cleared up by the time the conference is over.
If you’d like to watch it, just turn your browsers to Nintendo Direct this Thursday afternoon. If you’re not around (you know, because some people actually have to work), we’ll be following the news, and will post any juicy info that surfaces.
