505 Games and Overkill today announced the launch of eagerly awaited heist based, co-op shooter PAYDAY 2 for Steam PC and home consoles.
Winner of 4 “best of show” awards at E3 2013, PAYDAY 2 casts gamers as a member of the infamous Payday crew as they work their way through the biggest, most elaborate heists of their careers using the all new Crime Net system, overseen by the mysterious Bain.
Designed from the ground up to be the ultimate 4 player, co-operative experience, Payday 2 also features 4 brand new skill trees – the charismatic Mastermind, heavy Enforcer, gadget-crazy Technician and the super stealthy Ghost – which, alongside a versatile weapon modification system and all new mask creator, gives players the chance to live out their own fantasy of being a career criminal.
Payday 2 launches on Steam on Tuesday 13th August priced at £24.99 and will be followed on PlayStation Network on 14th August at £29.99, as well as in retail stores across Europe from Friday 16th August for both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 priced at £29.99. A Games on Demand version will also become available shortly on the Xbox Live for Xbox 360 priced at £29.99.
