Rayman Jungle Run is the best mobile platformer around and there’s a new update that adds even more content to the original release. This update is not to be confused with the original update which too added some extra levels and it all comes at the very good price of, FREE.
I don’t understand the state of gaming these days, you pay £1.99 for as a small platformer and the publisher showers you with additional content for free. You pay £39.99 for a console game and the damn season pass is an additional £20 because the initial base price of £39.99 isn’t enough. Hell it’s even £50/60 if you’re dumb enough to buy the digital download version.
Without getting too sidetracked here, let’s get back to Rayman Jungle Run because it’s a pretty neat platformer that stands on it’s own rather than be a watered down port. The iTunes app page has the following description in regards to the update.
- Dodge cannon balls and jump your way through falling rocks in the new Pirate Ship section for more exhilarating action!
- Rush faster than ever in the Boss Plant chapter to escape a giant “flower” that doesn’t smell too good.
- After so much running, will you dare enter the two new Land of the Livid Dead levels?
Rayman Jungle Run is available on iOS and Android based devices, it’s only £1.99 and like I mentioned, it a well made platformer considering the platform it’s on. If you don’t already own it then I recommend you get it as these updates are making that £1.99 price increase in value all the time. It’s £2.29 on Android for whatever reason, still totally worth it.
