Ubisoft have released a new trailer for Rayman Legends showcasing one of the many music themed levels in the game. Once again it’s a stunning display of visual and audio mastery alongside genius level design, it’s pretty much everything one could ever want from a 2D platformer.
It seems that I cannot stick enough sunshine up this game’s ass, it’s the type of game that reminds me of why I became a gamer in the first place. If you ever want to show someone what gaming is all about in it’s purest form then Rayman Legends is all you need.
The latest trailer is titled “Mariachi Madness” and features the game’s rendition of Eye of the Tiger but with a Rayman twist of course. I dare you to watch this trailer and not have a smile on your face throughout. I think Ubisoft have really outdone themselves with this one.
Rayman Legends is currently rocking an August 30th release date in Europe, oddly enough North America gets it a few days later on September 3rd. It’s heading to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in additional to the original Wii U version. It wouldn’t be too far-fetched to also assume that a PC and Vita version could be in the works.
