Could Resident Evil Revelations to coming to the Xbox 360? According to an achievements listing that could very well be the case. Resident Evil Revelations or Revelaitons as Capcom calls it was a Nintendo 3DS exclusive released last year to a positive reception from fans and critics alike.
The general feeling is that Revelations is a far superior title to Resident Evil 6, unlike that game Revelations actually sticks much more closely it’s survival horror roots whilst maintaining the 3rd person view seen in Resident Evil 4. In many ways it’s the best of both worlds and whilst I’ve personally not personally spent all that much time with the game, I can tell you it’s easily the best Resident Evil game in years.
The news come from an achievements listing from the Xbox achievements website complete with descriptions and icon images which all look pretty legit to me. Perhaps this is Capcom’s way of responding to the negative feedback Resident Evil 6 received, by porting over something people actually enjoyed.
What are the chances of Resident Evil Revelations coming to the Xbox 360?
It’s not so much a matter of if but when Capcom decide to announce this one, we’ll be sure to let you know about it. I’m guessing it will be a digital download title and given the achievements leak, it won’t be too long before Capcom official reveals this one. I wouldn’t mind seeing a Wii U port whilst they are at it, the GamePad is a natural fit for any dual screen based titles.
