It’s Halloween time, my ghoulish friends, and Square Enix are preparing a brand new DLC pack for Sleeping Dogs that celebrates the darkest holiday of the year. Coming on October 30th, “Nightmare in Northpoint” will bring a little more than the racing and cop missions we’ve been offered in previous DLC.
“With the DLC, we feel we can explore other aspects of Hong Kong cinema,” United Front representatives told a panel at New York Comic-Con. While this statement doesn’t give much away, fans of foreign film will know that the doors are now open to all sorts of twisted shit. Kotaku have been told that the pack will be similar to Red Dead Redemptions “Undead Nightmare”, but if they’re taking Asian cinema as their inspiration, we could be in for something extreme.
I suppose I should finally get around to playing the game, as I’d love to see what’s in store when this pack releases. One things for sure, though: We won’t be sleeping easy after letting this nightmare take hold of us.
