The original PSP literally put the port in PlayStation Portable and Sony’s PlayStation Vita is no different to with yet another collection in the way of Sly Trilogy and God of War Collection. For what it’s worth though these are some great titles and the ability to play them on the go certainly shouldn’t be dismissed.
The first collection of the two to arrive on the PlayStation Vita will be The Sly Trilogy. It will be out on April 16th as both a digital download and as a full retail release.
Next up is the God of War Collection which arrives on May 8th and it too will be available as a digital download or as a full retail release.
No word yet on whether you’ll be able to download these titles seperately or if you’re stuck buying the lot in one shot. The Jak & Daxter Trilogy set eventually allowed each of the titles to be downloaded separately so it’s likely only a matter of time before these games also follow in it’s footsteps.
If there’s one thing you DON’T want to take from The Jax & Daxter Trilogy for PlayStation Vita it’s overall port quality, those games let a lot to be desired. Hopefully Sly and Kratos will survive the jump to the small screen with nice clean smooth visuals intact.
