Set a year after the events depicted in the first Tales of Xillia, new hero Ludger Will Kresnik found his fate mysteriously intertwined with Elle Mel Marta, a little girl travelling in search for the Land of Canaan. When a shadowy organization attacks them, Ludger awaken powers linked to a mysterious pocket watch he entrusted Elle with.
