Here’s a trailer to The Wonderful 101, one of the few games that you’ll actually be able to play this year. It’s also probably the Wii U’s first true “killer app” considering Rayman Legends somehow ended up being almost a year late with all the delays it suffered.
So what is The Wonderful 101 or why should you care?
The Wonderful 101 is the latest game from Hideki Kamiya whose past works include Bayonetta, Okami, Viewtiful Joe, Devil May Cry and Resident Evil 2. The style of the game has a very Viewtiful Joe feel to it but in terms of gameplay genre it seems to be familiar to Pikmin. Basically imagine Viewtiful Joe X Pikmin and you get The Wonderful 101 for the Wii U.

I don’t think I need to go on anymore, at this point you’re either hyped or not for this one. If you’re not then that’s fine, I take it you’re used to skipping out on potentially awesome titles. This game isn’t designed for your unappreciative ass anyway.
