Bayonetta 2 & The Wonderful 101 To Remain Exclusive

Wii U owners might be a little disappointed to hear about Rayman Legends but Bayonetta 2 & The Wonderful 101 are set still set to remain exclusive. I’m not playing to the fanboy wars currently taking place on the internet nor do I intend on picking sides but let’s give Wii U owners something to shout out. It seems that everything Wii U related ends up being negative in some form so let’s get something positive in for a change.

You may have heard of Hideki Kamiya before, he’s the guy behind such titles as Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe & Okami to name a few. Platinum Games, the studio Kamiya-san works for, currently have two Wii U exclusives on the way and according to Kamiya’s Twitter account it’s likely to stay that way too.

We’re a development company… Nintendo gives us money, we make Bayonetta 2 and Wonderful 101, and they sell it.

So if Nintendo says ‘We’re putting Bayonetta 2 on PS3 and 360′ it’ll come out on those platforms… So ask Nintendo about it…

So there you have it in case you needed to be reassured, unlike Rayman Legends Nintendo is obviously more involved with those two titles. Bayonetta 2 wouldn’t even exist if Nintendo hadn’t stepped in but it looks like The Wonderful 101 is also being backed by Nintendo which is news to me. If you’re looking for a new “Wii U killer app” then I suggest you start eyeing The Wonderful 101, it really does live up to it’s title.
