Ubisoft are on fire today with various Ubi Art powered games and this time it’s Child of Light. It’s another new IP from Ubisoft and quiet frankly, we need some original content these days so it’s amazing to see Ubisoft deliver the goods.
Child of Light is one for all you JRPG fans out there but THANKFULLY there is no random battle rubbish with this game, you can see every enemy on screen and battles are activated by touching the enemy so the choice to engage in battle is up to you.
The Black Queen has stolen the Sun, the Moon and the Stars. You play as Aurora, a young princess with a pure heart whose soul is brought to the kingdom of Lemuria. Embark on a quest to recapture the three sources of light, defeat the Black Queen and restore the kingdom of Lemuria.
For some strange reason the YouTube description above makes no mention of how beautiful this game is, why WOULDN’T mention how gorgeous this game looks? Child of Light features a oil painting look and seeing it in motion is truly something special.
Child of Light will be coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U and PC sometime in 2014. Pretty much everyone is covered with this release so all aboard the hype train.
