After being missing in action since E3 last year, Bayonetta 2 returns with a brand new trailer and holy shit is putting it lightly. At this point everyone making an action game should just cancel their game and do something else, Platinum Games OWN the genre.
By now I’m sure you all know this one will be a Wii U exclusive , Platinum Games needed a publisher in order for Bayonetta 2 to happen and Nintendo stepped up so the game effectively belongs to them as a result. It’s one of those rare moments when Nintendo does something extremely smart.
As for the game itself, Bayonetta 2 looks set to up the ante even though the original Bayonetta was already a “turned up to 11″ game. There are literally no words to describe the action and sheer madness that is Bayonetta 2, the best I can do is simply point your attention towards to the trailer.
With the good however seems to come the bad, we STILL don’t have any idea of when Bayonetta 2 will arrive. Nintendo is sticking to it’s vague “2014″ release date which is frustrating since the game looks stunning.
