Gaikai teases ‘major’ announcement at E3

If you didn’t know, Gaikai is a cloud-based gaming service, similar to OnLive, in which you play demos via the cloud and purchase full versions of major PC games and applications.

Well, the company will be present at this year E3. And, apparently, they will announce something “big”:

Gameblog.fr received an invitation to a Gaikai event at the show, which reads: “Gaikai has major announcements in store for E3, which have the potential to change the future of video games, game consoles and how we play.

If you remember, a couple of days ago we ran a rumor that said Sony could be preparing an announcement regarding a partnership deal between PlayStation and a leading cloud gaming service.

Could these two be connected?
