Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey will be available for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita in Europe on 21st June.
The new release coincides with a line of branded products and TV content based on the Lego Legends of Chima. For those who don’t know the world of Legends of Chima is “ruled by eight animals tribes” and it “tells the classic story of good and evil, friendship and family”
Players take the role of Laval as they swing, fly, leap and fight through 15 action packed levels, whilst exploring the vast lands of Chima whilst collecting various tools, unlocking over 60 characters and discovering secret areas for brimming with hidden collectibles. Laval embarks on his journey as he fights for justice and races to unlock the power of the legendary triple-CHI armour before his nemesis uses it’s power for evil.
A Nintendo DS version will follow the 3DS and Vita releases in the Autumn, as will a Free-to-play Legends of Chima online game. Online features for the 3DS and Vita versions comes in the form of a “Chima Vault”. An online store in which players can redeem points earned in the game to “enhance their experience” when the online versions of the game launch later this year.
