Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, oh my god what a long ass name. Oddly enough however that’s not even close to being the longest title for a game, off the top of my head the king is still this game.

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games is the fourth entry in the Mario & Sonic series, they’ve made four of these Olympic based games and yet we’re still waiting for some kind of awesome Mario and Sonic crossover game. If it were up to me I’d make Mario the final boss in Sonic Lost World just purely for the massive swerve factor potential.
The game itself features 16 olympic events ranging from bob-sleighing to snowboarding or even ice skating, the trailer itself shows Peach cheating on Mario with Sonic, not cool. Snowboarding is probably the coolest looking of the lot since it’s likely the closest I’ll ever get to another 1080 Snowboarding sequel.
It’s easy to knock these Mario & Sonic Olympic Games but for what it’s worth, I’ve played the Wii versions before and they’re good fun for kids. This Wii U version in particular looks rather pretty, again it’s the snowboarding that’s catching my attention the most.
There’s no release date yet for Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games but GamesPress have November 2013 listed which seems plausible enough.
