The latest random Nintendo Direct has concluded and as usual we have all the details for the lazy. Nothing major was announced but Nintendo did use the opportunity to reveal some release dates and featured a nice montage of indie titles heading to the Wii U.
- Satoru Iwata starts off the show as per usual.
- Talks about Sonic Lost World and shows some slightly new footage.
- You can create RC plans on the 3DS version and send it the Wii U version to help Sonic, basically some form of co-op mode.
- Sonic Lost World launches on 3DS & Wii U on October 18th.
- Next up is Rayman Legends, some new footage is shown.
- Mario & Luigi costumes will be available within the game, looks pretty amusing.
- Levels from Rayman Origins will be in Rayman Legends as an added bonus.
- Rayman Legends will be available from August 29th.
- Art Academy Sketch Pad for Wii U is next.
- It will be available on the Wii U eShop from August 9th.
- Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds is next.
- Some new footage is shown but we already know the rest.
- Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds launches this November.
- Next up is Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD
- Stupid triforce quest has been streamlined, features faster sailing and quicker Wind Waker actions.
- Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD launches on October 4th for Wii U.
- Small Smash Bros 4 update, Luigi is confirmed… shocking.
- A new Miiverse community page has been added for Animal Crossing New Leaf.
- An Animal Crossing version of the Wii U palaza is now available on the eShop for Wii U. It’s free.
- Satoru Shibata takes over now, I like this guy.
- Pokemon Rumble U (whatever that is) arrives on the Wii U eShop on August 15th.
- KORG M1 Music Workstation for 3DS will arrive sometime in the autumn.
- Steamworld Dig is now available on the 3DS eShop.
- Super Mario Bros 2 is also available on the 3DS eShop now.

That’s pretty much it for this Nintendo Direct, Satoru Shibata is a legend and one of the most likeable people within the industry. We finally got firm release dates for Sonic Lost World and Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD which I’ve been wondering about recently.
