It’s arriving a little later than expected but Capcom’s Phoenix Wright Trilogy HD remaster is finally available on iOS. It’s exactly what the name implies, the original Phoenix Wright Trilogy consisting of Ace Attorney, Justice for All & Trials and Tribulations in HD.
I’ve toyed around with the demo version before doing up this post and I can assure everyone it’s a quality remaster of the originals. Everything has been re-drawn yet no one was stupid enough to change anything, it’s exactly the same game you remember from the DS or even GBA if you were into the series before it’s international release.
The pricing for the game is mega confusing but that’s pretty much a given considering this is Capcom after all. The press release explains it nicely so we’ll take the lazy approach and resort to that.
The first two episodes of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney are available to download free of charge with the remaining three episodes priced at $5.99/£3.99/€5.49/AUD6.49. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations are available as in-app purchases individually priced at $6.99/£4.99/€5.99/AUD7.49. Alternatively all three titles can be purchased as an all in one pack for $16.99/£11.99/€14.99/AUD17.99.
In my opinion just give the free trial a go, if you like what you see then go ahead and pick up the whole thing for £11.99. It’s a fantastic trilogy well worth the money and I give it my highest recommendation, well maybe not Justice for All too much.
