Nothing screams “slow news day” more than a post dedicated to the Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright box art reveal. To be fair however I’d rather be writing about this than talking about stupid micro transactions or season passes, urgh.
As you can see from the lovely image below, Nintendo Europe is once again on point and have delivered a quality box art for Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright. We see the return of the silly “Also compatible with Nintendo 2DS” logo on the bottom right which sadly looks like it will be a regular thing going forward. Couldn’t they have just placed that useless logo on the back or something?
In addition to the box art we also have a release date and it’s March 28th which may sound good but in reality we’ve known about this game since 2010. Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright was one of the first 3DS games revealed and something of a system seller for some, myself included. Believe it or not Japan have been enjoying this game since NOVEMBER 2012, talk about long ass localisation.

Yeah I know what you’re thinking, after playing Ace Attorney 5, that Phoenix Wright character model does look a little strange. Oh well, at least we’re getting the game which is more than what can be said for Ace Attorney Investigations 2.
