Let’s be honest - if there’s one time you really need good teamwork, it’s when fighting off a horde of acid-spitting Xenomorphs, right? I mean, as much as everybody likes to be the hero, if you don’t have your buds backing you up, you may as well kiss your ass goodbye. Thankfully, this won’t be a problem in Aliens: Colonial Marines, if this new trailer is anything to go by.
Watching those marines coordinate with each other as they take on waves of alien creatures, including some “special” types, reminds me of Left 4 Dead. If this is the type of multiplayer we can expect from Aliens: Colonial Marines, then sign me up! This does raise the question, though: Which would you rather face? A city full of zombies or a spaceship full of aliens? Oh, who am I kidding - I’d practically hug those zombies if it meant I didn’t have to face one of those other-worldly nightmares!
Anyway, here’s the trailer. Aliens: Colonial Marines is out on February 12th, so I think it’s time to start getting excited.
